The Weekend.....

The work week has passed and hopefully everyone has wrapped up their things on work, making your move to welcome the great weekends ahead. Time flies and already we are coming near to the end of June. Weekend is always precious for people at work, so sit back and relax, plan well for your days, go have mad fun and leisure times with your love one.

I'm feeling grateful this weekend as I've learned so much throughout the week, either on work matter or the relationship between people. Came across an article and the words inside somehow inspired me. It says:
"Do not chase for the trend. It is said that young people should always be the most fashionable one, but what makes you special is how the way you see things and be who you are. In the current materialistic society, in fact, the pursuit of fashion and trend has became the pursuit of money"
I guess many people are feeling miserable when come to the situation in differentiating NEEDS AND WANTS. Beware of getting yourself trapped in this situation, it will soon lead you to nowhere.

Weekend is always about leisure. So pamper yourself, do something out of the town. Its always best to leave the hustle city to grab some tranquility moment.

Have a beautiful and inspired weekend.

Changing...to The New Stage of Life

Hi peeps, it's been a while since my last post here....I have no choice but to drop all possible distractions to regain my 100% attention back to studies, to fight for my soon-to-complete degree course. It's been a hard time I would say, dealing with hundred and thousand of books and papers, lectures and never ever ending revision classes, a bit overwhelmed! *freaking out*

Time flies, after 3 months and now I'm once again coming back for good, hoping that my come back would bring more cheerful and inspiration blog to all readers (I know there might not be many of them just in case if ithappens to have anyone out there I still show my concern to them) ;-)

A little update on my current life, technically I've completed my Degree program and started off work as an AE, helping out Mr.T to manage his businesses. It was a brand new experience for me, unlike the past, this time it was a real life salary-base job, no more joking or doing things half-heartedly. I see this as my training stage before I can be well prepare to handle work outside without anyone's protection and guidance. So, yea, this is serious stuff!! Oh, did I just mention serious? As if never in my life that I've did something real serious compare to this, aiks :s

Don't feel like writing a long post tonite, BUT

there's gonna be a minor change in terms of the blog contents for the following post and in the future. Ain't you feeling excited already??

I'm desperately looking forward to it already ;-)

Tie the knot in Spring

Winter goes, and here come the bird sings along in Spring...

Happy Wedding to my eldest cousin sister in the Yap's Family.

Marriage is not a ritual or an end. It is a long, intricate, intimate dance together and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance and your choice of partner. ~ Amy Bloom

V ' Day

Happy belated Valentine's Day!
People always ask me questions like:

"what does valentine's day mean to you?"
or
"how would you celebrate this special day with your love one?"

Well, my answer is pretty much the same...I don't take this day so serious anymore for like 5 years ago?? From my point of view, its just another day to boost up country economic, where every place and restaurant is crowded, you gotto move very fast, eat very fast to avoid people waiting for table...why do you have to get yourselves into trouble like this?!
I spent this day accompany Mr.T with his new project. We have quite a sweet time at his office and he surprised me with a small little gift. I didn't expect him to remember the day since he was so busy all these while.
Obviously, he did and to be frank I'm a bit surprise though o.O
For me, its about staying together with someone whom you truly love. It doesn't has to be candle light dinner or fancy pressie or wonderful surprises...you don't have to do all these to show how much love you have for him/her...even only in this specific day.
Still, I hope all of you have an enjoyable day with your love ones!

For him

My Weekend

I have to admit that I'm not an outgoing person...I love to stay at home all the time instead of hang outside and stay under the hot sun ;-)

Believe me or not, there are millionz of good reasons to stay at home..it doesn't have to be boring all the time. In fact, there are lotz of things which you can do, just like me ==

1. Kick start your day with a healthy exercise, go for an early swim...good exercise, at the same time to keep you energetic for the whole day

2. make yourself a nice and healthy breakfast. Your menu may include garden salad, smoke bacon, sunny side up, sausage, and 2 pieces of bread or its even healthier if you choose to have wholemeal bread

3. For those who don't have maid at home like me, you may do some household chores. I like to do my own laundry, especially white color apparel which cannot be mix with other color to avoid color transfer. Besides, it can train my responsibility to handle all my stuff with care, to keep them in well condition so that they can last long

4. Cleaning out wardrobe. This is my top of the list in household chores. I always have so much fun in cleaning my wardrobe. Girls always want to look at their best, so we have to have an organised closet. Sort through the item and get rid of clothes you no longer needed. A little free space will help you find things easily and quickly or it may just give you reason to go shopping!

5. As a student like me, I'll tend to leave my school works and assignments until the weekend. Reason because I have classes 5 days in a row, and it all ends very late in the evening. By the time I reach home I'm already in a half death situation. So the best time to concentrate in my assignments will be the weekend, where I reckon my brain can function better after I have enough rest

6. Indulge yourself with a simple tea break. A combination of flower tea and cookies and pastry. This is time when you can sit back and relax after a busy afternoon. Call some friends to join you make it as a small gathering. Its the best time to gossip around and share information on fashion, make-up, and whatever you want to

7. Always keep yourselves updated with current news and trend. As a soon-to-graduate degree student, my next move will be stepping into the working environment; a truly new phase in life where I have to always be well prepared to overcome all kinds of problems which I may encountered to. Reading is always the best way to learn. So read more, learn more, gain more

8. Online shopping. Of course you don't want to stay outside yet you really need to do some shopping. Just a few simple steps: google out your desire stuff, place your order, make payment, and wait for the product to arrive at your door ^.~

9. Spend some quality time with your love ones. Together with your mummy, cook a simple and delicious dinner for the whole family. Enjoy the process; spending time with family is the utmost precious moment. No matter how bad it would be, family is always the closest one to you.

10. If you are attached and keen to have a nice and wonderful date, there are many which you can try. Rent or buy some DVDs or you can even download it from the net with all in HD! Cycling during the night is a splendid idea too. Cycle to the park with your partner, showering by the night star...perfect!!

Seems like I've got a long list on how I spend my weekend...oppssyy!
Trust me, the list still keep going ^^

All in all, staying at home doesn't have to be dull and gray...all you need is to put in some little effort and will to make things out for you. Its always about your own choice. Who knows you will come out with ideas that are much more better than mine ^.~

Have a great day ahead!!

What to do with old lingerie?

Today's topic is very rare...I guess people seldom share about how to dispose off old lingerie because they're too shy to bring up the topic and, lingerie is somehow very intimate stuff for girls and women. Not that I don't feel shy to write about this, what I think is very simple, I search for solution and I share what I've got. After all, its just about helping yourself and helping the others..a win-win situation :)

So I've been figuring out for sometimes on how to get rid of my old lingeries which already un-fit, out of shape(due to lack of washing lingerie skill) and I can't get any solution until I go check it out in the internet. There are many answers to my question, somehow some of it I found it really interesting ^^

Solution on how to dispose your lingerie:

NORMAL ANSWER
1. Do some good with your old lingeries by donating them to the charity to help those homeless women

2. Cut off the trim/ elastic to be reused or recycle the bra hooks in the back to make a bra extender

3. Recycle the underwear fabric, use them to make mini art, quilts, or used it as a stuffing for things that need stuffing

4. Send them to recycle to make new fabric for new lingerie

5. If it's still in good condition, make t as a top to wear by adding some material and do some design or embroidered

INTERESTING ANSWER
1. DON'T WEAR any lingerie so that you don't have to worry on how to dispose it!!

2. Give all the lingeries away at any gay bar (who knows people there will love to have them) ;-)

3. Wrap it up properly and give it to your boyfriend as a gift. They'll remind him of you O.o

4. Use it to make a purse?!

5. There are people looking for women to sell their lingerie!!

I guess you should have some idea now, don't you ^.~
There are more funky and un-predictable answer which you can look for in the internet. Have fun trying peeps :)

p.s: anyone dare to try on the suggested interesting answer?! I seriously don't...LOL
