Dumplingyyy

Tomorrow is the 'Dragon Boat Festival', or some people may call it 'Dumpling Day' and the chinese call it 'Duan Wu Jie'. It doesn't bring any special to me but I just simply love it cause it is the day when i can eat lots..and lots of dumpling! This is another chinese food that i love and always crave most! Anyway, people still selling dumpling everywhere in the normal day not specifically appear only during this special festival.

So as a big fan for dumpling, i decided to give grandma a help beside for being the person who only know how to eat, i wanna learn how to make it. I help her out for wrapping the dumpling. Let see what we have for the ingredients. It depends on what kind of dumpling you want, pork eggyolk dumpling, chicken red bean dumpling and....* i only know two kinds of it!

It takes very simple step to make a dumpling.

1. Prepare for all the ingredients.

2. Take 2 leaves, place 1 on top and another at the bottom, then fold the center of the leaves into a shape that looks like a cylinder and the remain part of the leaves should be across and on top of the cylinder.

3. Fill in the ingredients.

4. Once finish filling in the ingredients, fold down the remain part of the leaves to cover the ingredients. The dumpling will then be in the shape of triangle.

5. Place it into the hot boiled water. Boil for 3 hrs.
And.....my top favourite is served!!
